Course content
|
Students will get acquainted with basic legal concepts. They will recognize the concept of law and its classification, sources of law, sources of school law. In general, they will be familiar with the concepts of the National Education Program, Framework and School Educational Programs, Educational System. After that, a system of schools and school facilities will be consulted, and within them will be types of schools, types of secondary schools. Types of school facilities. The concept of the Register of Schools and the registration of a legal entity will be explained. The practical part in terms of school law is the education of children, pupils, students with special educational needs, the evaluation of education in schools and school facilities. At the end of the thematic plan of the subject, the competence of territorial self-governing units in the field of education, rights and obligations of school heads and school facilities, funding of education and scope of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will be discussed.

Student knows basic legal regulations in the field of school legislation and human rights issues. The student is guided by the legal regulations in force forming the legislative framework of the teacher's work. The student knows the regulations governing the conditions of education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs. The student focuses on the issue of human rights and realizes the importance of their fulfillment and the importance of equal access to education.
