Course content
|
1. Development overview of Czech and world LDM. 2. Genre thematic classification of LDM. 3. The folk tale and its adaptation. 4. The fairy tale, the main authors and their works. 5. Children's folklore and contemporary poetry for children. 6. Prozaic works - story prose with a child hero. 7. Adventure literature, educational literature, comics in children reading. 8. Outline of preparation for LV hours at primary school with a focus on pupils with special educational needs. 9. Specificity of work with individual genres of children's literature. 10. Work with literary verse. 11. Work with literary prose prose. 12. Dialogue and dramatization of literary texts with pupils with special educational needs. 13. Application of modern didactic techniques and teaching aids in reading and reading lessons. 14. Visual interpretation of the literary text - use of media, illustrations.

Learning outcomes
|
In the course the students will acquaint themselves with individual genres and pieces of literature for children and youth. They will provide them with an overview of the development of intentional Czech and world literature from the beginning to the present. With a view to children's readers, they prefer to focus mainly on texts where the authors devote themselves to disabled or socially disadvantaged children. To inform students about the methods and organizational forms of work in literary education classes in schools where they work with children with special educational needs. On the selected texts of children's literature, students will pass on the theoretical basis and practical skills in reader, literary and didactic interpretations. In seminars on model situations, interpret and didactically solve literary works and prefer them to handicapped children and use modern didactic practices when working with pupils with special educational needs.
The student will acquire basic information in the literature for children and young people, acquire the ability to work with the literary text with students with special educational needs.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

At the oral exam, studying above the list of studied and read literature for children, will be able to discuss the content of individual titles. He demonstrates his / her orientation in didactic problems when working with the literary text at the first grade of the elementary school and the ability to refer to his / her preparations for the methods and forms of work with the literary text he has applied in his / her preparations for individual lessons.
