1) Introduction - introduction to the program of lectures and seminars, recommended literature, system of work in seminars and requirements for completion of the subject. 2) Introduction to anthropological issues and theory of education. 3) The origin and beginnings of education. 4) Education and education in ancient Greece and Rome. 5) The Concept of Man in Greek Philosophy. 6) Medieval education and school. 7) Man in Christian Medieval Thinking. 8) Man in Modern Thought. 9) Pedagogical thinking of the 17th and 18th centuries. 10) Marxist concept of man. 11) Irationalist anthropology in 19th and 20th century philosophy. 12) Philosophical anthropology as an independent philosophical discipline. 13) Pedagogical theory of the 19th and 20th centuries. 14) Credit test.

Learning outcomes
|
Předmět sleduje ve své výstavbě základní témata filosofické a pedagogické antropologie jakožto nauky o člověku a jeho výchově: podstata a bytí člověka, jeho postavení ve světě, smysl jeho života, možnosti jeho formování v procesu výchovy a vzdělávání, vzájemný vztah člověka a přírody, člověka a společnosti, otázky jeho vnitřního citového a mravního života. Předmět se snaží ukázat, jak lidé v průběhu dějin rozuměli sami sobě ve filosofické reflexi, neboť sebedefinování vypovídá vždy něco podstatného nejen o tom, kdo je člověk, ale také v jakém světě žije, jaké hodnoty uznává a preferuje, v co věří, jak chápe své možnosti, kam chce směřovat a formovat sám sebe v procesu výchovy.
