The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the development of mathematical thinking in geometry at preschool children. Attention is given to basic geometric concepts in pre-school education; geometric formations, principles of measurement, geometry in a square network, modeling, spatial orientation and development of geometric and spatial imagination. Direct handling of objects is an important aspect in the development of mathematical skills in teaching will contact students to apply theoretical knowledge in a specific tasks. Student knows the basic geometric concepts in pre-school education, can explain the principle of measuring length, area and volume level requirements for preschool education. In working with geometric formations apply knowledge of classification, arrangement and display. He can create for preschool child tasks focused on the development of mathematical imagination, including spatial imagination.
