Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to acquaint PhD students with the historical development of science and science education. This review will be conducted in the context of philosophical evolution from ancient society to the present and in the context of paradigm shifts in scientific thought and science education. Especially in constructivist epistemological approaches, the ontogenesis of human knowledge is presented as an analogy to the phylogeny of cognition of mankind and the development of science. The following overview of the thematic areas of the subject is not a detailed concretization, but rather shows segments of the development of science, while it is assumed that the doctoral student will focus on one of the segments more intensively depending on the choice of his narrower specialization.
