1. Andragogy as a scientific discipline and a study programme - development and perspective 2. Basic disciplines of andragogy, applied and borderline disciplines - professional andragogy, social andragogy, special andragogy, and cultural andragogy 3. Company education 4. Management in further education 5. Hobby, civic and political education of adults 6. Gerontology (education and activization of seniors), informal education of seniors 7. Andragogy - didactic of adult education (principles, methods, and forms) 8. Andragogy as an occupation - role, formal qualification, and competences 9. Trends in education and self-education of adults, concept of lifelong learning 10. Strategic documents regarding the education of adults and lifelong learning 11. Andragogical infrastructure in the Czech Republic and worldwide 12. Education of adults in the European Union and in the world 13. Further education and development of specific target groups (for example teachers) 14. Research in andragogy and andragogical methodology

Learning outcomes
This subject is a direct follow-up to a previous course called Andragogy I. Students are familiarized with the development of andragogy as a scientific discipline and as a specific study programme at European universities. Andragogy puts the problematics of adult education into the wider cultural, sociological, economic and political context. It characterises basic, applied and borderline disciplines with an emphasis on further education (professional, hobby and civic) of adults. The subject also introduces the principles, methods and forms of work of an educator of adults and his/her role regarding the qualification requisites and possibilities of implementation in education praxis.
The student is familiar with the issue.
