1. The subject of psychopathology and its basic categories 2. Mechanism of origin and development of mental abnormalities 3. Disorders of individual mental functions and their influence on behavior 4. Organic mental disorders 5. Mental and behavioral disorders caused by the action of psychoactive substances 6. Schizophrenia 7. Affective disorders 8. Neurotic and anxiety disorders, stress-induced disorders 9. Personality and behavioral disorders in adults 10. Mental retardation 11. Disorders of mental development 12. Behavioral and emotional disorders usually begin in childhood and adolescence 13. Credit test

Learning outcomes
During the course of study, listeners will gain basic knowledge in the area of psychopathology, and will be familiarized with the classification and symptomology of the selected psychic and behavioral disorders. They will gain an overview of individual disorders and symptoms that are typically connected to them. Possibilities for treatment and therapy are also discussed. It is expected that listeners have some basic knowledge of psychopathology from the previous study, and that is why individual disorders will be discussed in relation to their consequences for an individual, for others, and from the perspective of adaptation difficulties.
During the study, students will gain an overview of the causes and symptoms of the main types of mental and behavioral disorders. They will gain an overview of the consequences in relation to social employment, and the tasks and opportunities of specialists and helping professions in terms of therapy, help and support.
