Course content
. Basics of social communication - history, definition of social communication, basic levels, aspects of social contact 2. Phases and structure of communication, communiqué codding 3. Communicational axioms, classification of types of communication, emotional intelligence 4. Verbal communication - types, forms, and development components of speech, intent of communication 5. Semantics, the language of logic and poetry 6. Interview, dialogue, ability to listen, speech culture and techniques 7. Facilitation of contact establishment with the listener, improving the effect of speech, building up the speaker's skills, and technique of spoken and written communication 8. Training focused on the development of skills in the area of spoken communication 9. Paralinguistic - basic definition, voice colour, word production speed, pauses between sentences, correct phrasing, empty sounds, pauses between words 10. Nonverbal communication - basic characteristics, mimics, approximation and delay, cant, haptics, gesticulation, eye language. 11. Training focused on the development of skills in the area of nonverbal communication 12. First impression - biological determinants of the first impression in social contact, overcoming the initial barrier, tools to establish trust 13. Example of successful communication, synchronization, positive forms of communication, feedback 14. Training focused on the development of skills focused on establishing contact and successful communication

Learning outcomes
This subject builds up the information about social communication known from high school and synthetizes the knowledge of various humanities (sociology, psychology, semiotics, ethics). The important part of tuition is practical training, which simulates certain situations that are important from the everyday communication perspective, but mainly from the perspective of the professional needs of students (communication between the superior and subordinate, between the educationalist and client, etc.). An important part of this subject is a critical evaluation of the available literature, in which conflicting information can be found.
