Learning outcomes
The goal of this subject is to familiarize students with the ethical and philosophical topics important to social work. The other goal is to alert students about ethical questions and issues related to work conduct in the helping professions. In that regard, this subject is focused on the practical overlap of ethics, its relations and categories, and the definition of basic terminology, such as morality, morale, and ethos. The student is able to reflect on the ethical aspects of religion and morale, philosophy and morale, politics/legislation, and morality, and to apply the acquired knowledge to the problematics of freedom, good and evil, consciousness, sacrifice, meaning, duty, solidarity, charity, and others.
The student is familiar with the issue.
