Course content
1. Introduction 2-3. Methodological questions. Diagnostic activity and diagnostic methods, rules of work with diagnostic methods, diagnostics and its use in praxis, basic properties of diagnostic methods (objectification, standardization, reliability, classification of psychosocial diagnostic methods. 4-5. Selected information about statistical concepts and approaches in psychosocial diagnostics 6-8. Statistical approaches, parametric and nonparametric approaches, the most commonly used approaches in praxis, descriptive statistical methods, expressing the phenomena dependence. 9. Clinical methods. Observation, interview, anamnesis, analysis of products, etc. 10-11. Test methods. Performance tests (tests of intelligence, special abilities, knowledge), tests of personality (projective methods, objective tests, questionnaires, assessment scale) 12. A find and report in special education. A find clinically oriented, exploratory test, test oriented, a narrative find (dynamic-complex), oriented towards a personality. 13. Plan of an individual action, development, and creation based on diagnostics 14. Creation of a plan, its control and the evaluation of its effectiveness, selection of activities, work, education, special, hobbies, activities and approaches. Individual counselling according to the needs of the individual. Ethical principles. Basic rules and principles.

Learning outcomes
During the course of individual lectures, listeners will be familiarized with the up-to-date and used diagnostic methods and approaches that are used in practice during psycho-social praxis and during counselling. Special attention will be focused on a diagnostic report, which is an output document for career counselling. Furthermore, counselling from the social self-realization perspective, individual action plan creation, other forms of counselling, care, and support etc. will be discussed.
