Learning outcomes
During the course of study, listeners will be familiarized with the problematics of selected phenomena, which are a source and cause of adaptation difficulties among the selected groups of population, and, in some cases, certain individuals. emphasis will be put on both the causes and consequences that influence individuals with adaptation difficulties during their lives in society. Listeners will be familiarized with various situations that are more or less likely to happen in ordinary life, and with those that cause, e.g., mental impact on the development of somatic diseases and long-term medical handicaps. Those then reflect unwanted social adaptation difficulties. Another important part of this subject is dedicated to informing the listeners about the social impact of these difficulties, but also about the possible help and support.
