Course content
The aim of the course is to gain singing skills and experience in the field of choral singing in connection with the previous semester. Students also gain the necessary experience with the organizational structure of the choir, managing its activities, preparing concert performances. Singing technique, intonation and rhythm are developed, knowledge of choral literature is expanded and methodological knowledge connected with choir management is acquired. Studying and singing mastery of choral arrangements of folk songs, choral compositions by Czech and foreign authors from the period from the 17th century to the present, including non-artificial music. Mastering the performance of compositions adapted for three-part to four-part for mixed and female choir, in terms of singing technique, intonation and rhythm and stylistic performance.
