1. Overview of available office software, its basic features and functions, advantages and disadvantages. 2. Selection of software according to the type of document and the purpose of its use. 3. Typographic principles when working with text. 4. Principles for working with image material in a text document. 5. Collaborative work on an offline document. 6. Collaborative work on an online document. 7. Archiving and sharing documents.

Learning outcomes

The course complements the information and skills that the student acquires in parallel in the course Information and Communication Technology I. and expands them with the field context. It focuses on the specifics of seminar papers and other documents submitted to the Department of Czech Studies. The student learns to create clear documents with respect to typographic principles, citation standard and specified purpose (document intended for printing, electronic display, presentation and more).
