Learning outcomes
The seminars provide theoretical guidance for solving the complex issues of working with a choir for the needs of one's own practice. The theoretical foundation is applied to choral practice, which is focused on preparing the choirmaster for exams, concert performances, and choral festivals and competitions. It also includes orientation in choir events in our country and in the world.
The content of the seminars is the playing of choral scores (according to the choice and existing repertoire of choral bodies), models of voice exercises and singing ascending and descending in major and minor keys, application of legato, staccato, tempo and dynamic changes, articulation exercises. Part of the seminars is a theoretical introduction to the issue of choral tempo and voicing for individual types of choir. An integral part of the subject is work with the choirs of the Department of Higher Education.
