Course content
|
1st ? 4th The lectures introduce students to key works of choral literature for adult choirs by local and foreign composers of all stylistic periods, styles and genres. Due to the immense breadth of this choral literature, the main content of the course is to outline the possibilities and methods of self-sorting sheet music materials according to defined criteria for their subsequent use with a certain type of choir on a given occasion. 5th ? 8th Penetration into the issue of choral singing both theoretically and practically. Orientation in the selection of choral literature with regard to the artistic maturity of the given choral ensemble. Selection of compositions according to the canon of choral compositions for the state final exam. 9th - 14th Samples of audio recordings of selected compositions with simultaneous monitoring of choral scores. Analysis of selected choral recordings. Selection of compositions according to the canon of choral compositions for the state final exam. Cooperation with choral bodies at choral competitions and festivals - acquisition of choral literature. Dramaturgy of song selection.
