1. Selection of representative compositions of European and Czech Renaissance music. 2. Selection of representative compositions of European and Czech Baroque music. 3. Selection of representative compositions of European and Czech classicism music. 4. Selection of representative compositions of music of European and Czech early romanticism. 5. Selection of representative compositions of European and Czech high romantic music. 6. Selection of representative compositions of music by representatives of European and Czech modernism.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar thematically follows up on the subjects History of World Music and History of Czech Music. Its goal is to deepen the active listening experience and knowledge of a wide range of musical styles and genres. The seminar includes discussions on the issue of musical speech and the reception of the most important personalities of Czech and world music.
The student gains listening experience and knowledge of the main works of European and Czech music culture. In historical-analytical discussions he is able to independently critically interpret a musical work and its reception.
