The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge about the various systematics of musical instruments and other possible ways of their division. Musical instruments are viewed not only in terms of music, but also in terms of history, ethnography, sociology, etc. The course discusses the basics of musical acoustics having a direct connection with the ways of playing and creating tone on individual musical instruments.
