The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge about various systematics of musical instruments and other possible ways of their division. Musical instruments are viewed not only in terms of music, but also in terms of history, ethnography, sociology, etc. The course discusses the basics of musical acoustics directly related to the ways of playing and creating tone on individual musical instruments.
