Based on individual abilities, experience and practice, the teacher determines the initial difficulty. The main topics of the theoretical basis of piano accompaniment of folk songs are: - harmonization, harmonic imagination, harmonization of melody, harmonic analysis, - harmonic material (main and secondary root chords, non-tonal dominants, sequence of non-tonal dominants).
