Course content
Tasks: Each student will submit a presentation on a topic from the offered areas: 1. Basic musical terms; 2. Basics of voice education, tones 3. Tone system 4. Musical notation, marks 5. Abbreviations of musical writing (selection) 6. Sliders, rhythm, meter, beat 7. Note values, dynamics, tempo 8. Intervals and their determination, scale and key 9. Major and minor scales 10. Circle of fifths and fourths 11. Chords and their reversals 12. The meaning and role of Hv in the 1st grade of elementary school

Learning outcomes
The aim is to familiarize students with the system of notation, scales, chords and intervals, the formation of music and its content, the basics of harmonic accompaniment to songs, musical terminology and the ability to use the acquired knowledge in the context of specific musical material - songs.

Prerequisites
Based on the mentioned topics, the student is able to formulate teaching goals for the mentioned activities in music education at the 1st grade of elementary school. The student will supplement and acquire the theoretical knowledge needed for the study of other musical theoretical and musical educational disciplines, accompaniments of folk and artificial songs, voice training and didactics Hv.

Assessment methods and criteria

Students acquire and demonstrate the required syllabus of skills (play of songs and speeches) in the final performance. They present other individual tasks and self-study progress during the semester at seminars. The requirements are determined according to the entry level of the individual's skills after consultation with the teacher at the first exercises.
