1. Introduction. 2. Russian formalism (Gogol: Plášť / Ejchenbaum: Jak je udělán Gogolův plášť). 3. 3. Poetics of composition (Puškin: Výstřel / Petrovsky: Morfologie Puškinova Výstřelu). 4. 4. Prague Structuralism (K. Čapek: Šlépěj / Mukařovský: Významová výstavba a kompoziční osnova epiky Karla Čapka). 5. Narrative modes (Vančura: Dobra míra, Čapek: Povídky z druhé kapsy / Doležel: Dva moderní vypravěči). 6. Semantics of fictional worlds (Kundera: Nikdo se nebude smát / Doležel: Erotika a politika) 7. Psychoanalysis (Hoffmann: Pískař / Freud: Něco tísnivého)

Learning outcomes
The course develops the competencies that the student of teaching has acquired in the previous study. Its aim is to present selected literary schools and approaches that can be inspiring for the future teacher and that can provide him with useful tools for the description, analysis and interpretation of a literary work. The seminar is always based on reading a theoretical article and working with specific literary material. The student should be able to reflect the context and history of the methodology.
