1. History of rhetoric. 2. Types of public speeches with regard to their function. 3. Maxims of successful communication. 4. Principles of impressive and convincing public speech. 5. Structure and composition of public speech. 6. Argumentation in public speech. Use of rhetorical ornaments in public speech. 7. Analysis of selected public speeches (video recording) according to the given aspects. 8. The most common mistakes of public speakers. 9. Requirements for professional, promotional speeches and ceremonial speeches. 10. Self-presentation. 11. Presentation of the final thesis (bachelor). 12. Dialogue in school practice. Types of questions. Rhetoric in primary and secondary school.

Learning outcomes
|
Students learn to prepare public speech for various social occasions, they practice communication skills that lead to good and convincing speech performance. In the seminars, they learn to evaluate their expressions, to be aware of the mistakes they make, they are guided to the correct evaluation of pupils' spoken speeches.
