As this is an introduction to knowledge of Czech language, students will take a basic audio-oral course focused on pronunciation of Czech vowels, consonants, consonantal groups, on word stress, sentence melody and phrasing, and on spelling in relation to pronunciation. Further, students will become acquainted with basic vocabulary for common communication form of social contact, and with grammar issues relating to individual word classes.
Communicative competency in Czech (as a foreign language) - level A2.
