Course content
|
The course will focus on these topics: 1. Main developmental movements in Czech linguistics and their influences on construction and development of Czech Language Teaching Methodology. 2. The 19th century situation in a general overview, main focus on the 20th century and the present. 3. The most important personalities of linguistics and language teaching methodology, their roles and positions; the development of language teaching methodology. 4. The most important discussion topics, theoretical concepts and practical applications, obligatory curricular documents and textbooks for teaching Czech.

Learning outcomes
|
The topic is integrated into the study schedule of Theory of Education in Czech studies. Supervisors of the study grant the certification to students behind executed examination or submited fulfilment of the fixed output.
The student is well versed in the methodology field.
