This course provides an overview of literary movements in Anglophone countries, deepens students' knowledge of these movements acquired in previous literature studies and presents a comprehensive overview of literary development in Anglophone countries. The course focuses on a more detailed presentation of individual movements, but also on their mutual interconnections and connections between them. This knowledge is then connected with literary texts with the aim of pointing out the significant features of a particular movement in a given work. 1. Aesthecism and Decadence 2. Realism 3. The Black Arts Movement and Multiculturalism Knowledge and skills At the end of the semester, students should acquire the following skills: - gain an overview of literary development and understand the continuity of literary movements and the relationships between them - ability to classify literary works into literary development and literary movement and justify the classification - understanding of the basic features of literary movements, knowledge of their representatives and fundamental literary works of a given era ability to analyze a literary work in relation to a given literary movement
