Students become familiar with the main features of an educational project, learn the basic procedures for its design, are able to analyze its advantages, identify educational and training goals when using the project in English language teaching. With the help of authentic materials, they design different types of projects for different age categories and evaluate them mutually. Seminar topics: 1. Principles and characteristics of the project 2. Educational and training goals of the project 3. Structure 4. Authentic materials as a source 5. Working with visual support 6. Working with video 7. Creativity 8. Independence and responsibility 9. CLIL and cross-curricular relationships 10. Leading a long-term project 11. Methods of project evaluation 12. Presentation of student projects Acquired skills: After completing this course, the student can - define and specify the educational and pedagogical goals of the project - choose the topic and scope of the project appropriate to the age of the students - plan the work on a long-term project - create a system of evaluation criteria
