After completing this course, students - can present knowledge acquired in lectures and seminars and demonstrate understanding of the literature of this period; - demonstrate the ability to classify individual authors into certain periods of literary development, - can discuss authors and their works and evaluate them clearly and concisely; - will express themselves fluently and critically, gradually improve in critical thinking, expression, i.e. demonstrate improvement in their communication and presentation skills along with the ability to use literary terminology; - will be able to classify literary works into certain political, economic and cultural contexts of a given period; - can compare and evaluate works by authors from different periods of development; - demonstrate familiarity with literary terminology also in written expressions; - in addition to the acquired knowledge and skills (interpretation and analysis of the text), the student will also demonstrate creative abilities
