The topics of this course are based on the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Given that the course is included in a set of other practical language courses, which are concluded with a comprehensive exam at level C1 in the first year of study and a comprehensive exam at the proficiency level at the end of the second year of study, the course also aims to strengthen students' knowledge and skills and eliminate bad habits. Cultural, social and other topics covered in this course are supplemented by grammatical exercises aimed at testing knowledge of present tenses (various forms of expressing the present), future tenses (various forms of expressing the future), past tenses (form of expressing the past), passive voice, gerund, all forms of participles and, for example, inversion. Vocabulary is further expanded in practical language lessons, including phraseology and idioms.
