The course is focused on the acquisition of language skills for specific academic / professional purposes at intermediate level, B1 - B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the students should learn how to communicate within essential social issues (see the list of topics in Obsah/content).
Minimum language level B1 (equivalent of an English upper secondary school-leaving examination)

Assessment methods and criteria

self-study (for the credit - 1st semester) possibility to consult with the teacher consultation in physical and virtual form (mutual agreement) Compulsory Moodle course CJP / 4086 (submit all assignments by deadline) Obtaining credit for this course 1 entitles students to enter course 2 (CJP / 7920) with an exam (in the next semester)
