Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to develop the complete basics of general language and to introduce students to general professional language by expanding vocabulary and developing the skills needed to read simple professional texts. The student - graduate of the course should succeed in communication in simple non-specific professional situations. In addition, students are able to respond to everyday topics in a regular conversation, initiate and develop a conversation, and are able to easily comment on everyday situations in a foreign language.
Students are able to use the language on language level A1 CERF.

Prerequisites
|
Students are motivated to study a foreign language. Upon entering the course, students must be aware of the essential characteristic of the English language (as compared to their mother tongue) and be familiar with basic language tools (English alphabet, basic pronunciation rules, pronouns and frequently used verbs, etc.)
