Course content
Each topic includes two to three workshops where the range may be modified by the current specialization of participants. 1. Self-presentation, Communication 2. Education, International students 3. Food for thought, Food and Drink 4. Come rain or shine, Climate change 5. Money talks, money matters 6. Work and employment 7. The body clock, health 8. Time to waste, films, books 9. Migration, discrimination 10. Global issues, welfare state, poverty

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as an extension study of the English language focusing on the development of active and passive language skills. An overview of grammar (verb tenses and bonds, countable nouns, phrases, etc.) and original recordings and texts are included as well as exercises to expand vocabulary. Students will be encouraged to develop independent and comprehensive oral expression and immediate conversation using appropriate language resources. Testing appropriate to IELTS tests.
The course is aimed at students interested in improving their English to a higher level and further development of their skills in fluent conversation, i.e. the ability to clearly express themselves, to improve listening and reading comprehension as well as orientation in most grammar and/or improve one´s writing skills.
