Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical course and contains basic knowledge about the function of a healthy organism at the cellular level, individual body organs and the whole organism so that student understands the body's reaction in pathological conditions and gain knowledge needed for related clinical and practical subjects. The course includes basic information from the field of clinical genetics.
Expertise: The student has knowledge of the basic principles of human body (tissues, organs, organ systems) and is familiar with the composition of organ systems and their importance for a human being. Professional skills: The student is able to describe functioning of individual body systems. Student orients in anatomy of a human body and is able to recognize basic types of tissues and determine placement of human organs. Competences: Student is able to implement acquired professional knowledge and skills into the nursing process.
