Types of disability and psychological approach to clients 6. Dying and death in terms of psychology Principles of professional behavior Seminar Topics: 1. Psychotherapy in medical work 2. Illness as a difficult life situation 3. Communication with a sick client 4. Communication within the client's social network 5. Non-productive behavior, productive behavior and its manifestations 6. Learning outcomes
The subject is conceived as theoretical - practical. It solves the problems of psychology of clients and their families in health and illness. Knowledge of medical psychology will contribute to better understanding of patients of healthy and sick patients and to understanding their needs and problems.
Expertise: After completing the course, the student has knowledge those are important for the professional mastery of demanding situations in the care of individual needs of the sick, disabled and dying, as well as for maintaining the mental balance of an independent care and assistance provider. Professional skills: The graduate is able to adequately saturate the client's needs and solve the problems associated with the disease. He / she is able to approach clients in the context of specific diseases. General competences: The student is able to communicate clearly and convincingly his / her own professional opinions to experts and the wider public.
