Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at gaining knowledge about the influence of working conditions on the health of employees, on the principles of creating healthy and safe working conditions and on the duties of managers in the area of prevention of professional health damage of healthcare workers.
Expertise: The student can describe and explain the influence of working conditions in health care facilities on the health of employees, identify risk factors and situations, assess exposure to health harmful factors and the resulting health risks, student can design a program to reduce (manage) health risks and the way of communication with staff and the population, knows obligations to manage health and safety at work and relevant legislation. Professional skills: The student is able to elaborate a report about health risks at work, is able to classify the work of individual professions into categories and to elaborate a proposal for risky work, and is able to communicate with authorities of public health and safety at work.
