Aim of the subject is to acquaint students with tasks of management of medical facilities in case of extraordinary events, whether they arise within their own medical facility or as a result of threats of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear factors and minimize the consequences of these situations in relation to a health care. Attention is also paid to adequate prevention.
Expertise: The student is able, on the basis of legislation and expertise, to develop a methodology for securing a medical facility in case of a threat, to ensure appropriate preventive measures and to provide training for the organization's employees. Professional skills: The student handles the practical organization of the provision of health care in the event of a medical facility being endangered, both in terms of theory and practice.
