Lecture Topics: 1. Specifics of business in health care, conditions of providing health services 2. Analysis of business environment in health care, business plan in health care 3. Financing business in health care 4. Human resources management in a healthcare facility 5. Legal agendas in health care business 6. Quality assurance and safety in the provision of health services, management systems in health care 7. Information system of health care facilities, social responsibility of health care facilities 8. Case studies I. - outpatient facilities, case studies II. - bed facilities 9. Case study - elaboration of business plan Seminar Topics: They correspond to the topics of the lectures in the skill and experience level, strengthen the application efficiency in specific cases and strengthen the acquisition of certainty in the processing of the business plan. They cultivate a comprehensive approach to the processing of economic reality.

Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints students with the knowledge of specific conditions of business of medical institutions and prepare students for management functions within the health sector. Students will be acquainted with the conditions of providing health services, ways of setting up health care facilities, financing, human resources management, management competencies in health care and information and management systems of health care facilities.
Expertise: The student is able to describe and explain the specifics of business in health care, financing, human resources management, knows managerial competencies in health care and information and management systems of health care facilities. Professional skills: The student is able to elaborate a business plan, knows and respects the conditions of providing health services, student can use the legal agenda within the business in health care.
