Learning outcomes |
The subject follows the scope of psychology, ethics and communication. It is focused on the practice and certain psychotherapeutic techniques application in the work of a birth assistant. It helps to form the character of a birth assistant and together with other field subjects it creates a complex professional profile.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows the broadest approaches towards psychotherapy and the systems of psychotherapeutic methods. Student knows current and recent range of psychotherapeutic literature and he can produce critical evaluation. Professional Skills: Student will also get practical experience of using selected psychotherapeutic techniques. Student is able to use the experience in birth assistant's activities, he is able to support a client and influence him in the area of psychological problems. |
