Course content
|
Content of practical training: 1. To acquaint students with the place of practical training, excursion int the medical facility, explanation of hospital logistics and continuity of individual workplaces, BOZP. 2. Organization of Professinal training by mentoring, meeting with mentors, assignment of mentor, planning cooperation with mentor. 3. Explanation of professional practice rules, how to work with LOGBOOK, evaluation of practical training, introduction to the supervision process. 4. Specifics of student work in standard inpatient department, introduction with the medical documentation, organization of the work in th nursing unit, rules for creating of nursing plans (examples). 5. Specifics of student work in service, introduction with the medical documentation, organization of the work, rules for creating nursing plans / examples /.

Learning outcomes
|
Professional training I. is an introduction to the subject. The student is acquainted with the organization of professional training within the healthcare facility of inpatient and outpatient care. He / she is acquainted with the principles of mentoring and with the method of evaluation of professional practice by a mentor and with an academic. It is explained to students how to work with LOGBOOK. Practical training I. takes place in the Krajská zdravotní, a. s., Masaryk Hospital, Ústí nad Labem only.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of nursing procedures and the theory of nursing, which he /she can apply in practice through nursing plans and nursing interventions. Professional skills: The student is able practically realize the basic nursing procedures and theoretically vindicate their implementation. He/she knows and is well oriented in individual parts of medical documentation, works in cooperation with members of the nursing team.
