Course content
Seminar Topics: 1.Communication process, personality prerequisites for successful communication. 2.Techniques of managerial communication, communication within the company, communication with external subjects. 3.Types of relationships, creating and maintaining good relationships. 4.Use of assertive techniques in communication, principles of argumentation, influence of empathy. 5.Electronic communication, advantages and disadvantages, rules of using email. 6.Effective communication at meetings, meetings and presentations. 7.Guidance and discussion management - moderation techniques, GROW coaching model. 8.Process of negotiation, manipulation, negotiation - strategy of pressure and thrust.

Learning outcomes
The subject of managerial communication and rhetoric builds on the knowledge of psychology. The aim of the subject is to prepare students for managerial position in managerial rhetoric, communication strategy. Emphasis is placed on verbal and non-verbal communication in effective conduct of meetings and corporate events, including presentation of results. Students will learn the problems of argumentation, negotiation process and defense against manipulation.
Expertise: The student can describe and explain the essence of the communication process, can describe the techniques of managerial communication. He / she can correctly use electronic communication and knows the advantages and disadvantages of this technique. The student is acquainted with the principles of conducting meetings and business negotiation. Professional skills: Students can lead meetings, they can use managerial communication techniques in practice, taking into account personal differences. He can defend himself against manipulative techniques.
