Learning outcomes
The course of managerial communication and rhetoric is built on knowledge from psychology. The aim of the course is to prepare students for the position of manager in the field of managerial rhetoric, communication strategy. Emphasis is placed on verbal and non-verbal communication in the effective management of meetings and corporate events, including the presentation of results. Students will get acquainted with the issues of argumentation, the negotiation process and defense against manipulation.
Field knowledge: The student is able to describe and explain the essence of the communication process, can describe the techniques of managerial communication. Student can use electronic communication correctly and knows the advantages and disadvantages of this technique. The student is acquainted with the principles of meeting management and business negotiations. Field skills: Students are able to lead meetings, they can use managerial communication techniques in practice, taking into account personality differences. Student can defend himself against manipulative techniques.
