Learning outcomes
Subject provides the knowledge of Latin grammar and terminology with an aim to teach a clear specialized medical language. The vocabulary is necessary for other preclinical and clinical subjects, which require strict and precise language for descriptions of anatomic structure and evaluation of physiological and pathological states.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows special Latin terminology from the medical fields, especially from the gynaecological-obstetric area. Professional Skills: Student is able to use the theoretical knowledge in gynaecological and obstetric training, to understand special Latin terminology used in the care for women. Student can explain the woman Latin terminology used by the doctors.
