Learning outcomes
The goal of the diploma seminar is to guide students through the professional and methodological aspects of the preparation of the diploma thesis and to prepare them for its defense. Students are guided so that they can independently process the chosen topic in writing and solve the professional issue in a clear and logical way (ordering of chapters and sub-chapters including their designation), correctly orientate themselves in the chosen professional topic, define the problem and its connections, clearly summarize the knowledge to date the selected topic from the professional literature, taking into account the problem being solved, give a clear, critically thought-out interpretation with arguments and own commentary on the interpretation, appropriately and correctly sort, analyze, synthesize and interpret empirical data obtained through own research, apply theoretical knowledge to the solution of a practical problem (specification current knowledge in the area of solving the chosen problem, adequate solution methods and their brief description) and in the end evaluate their results, the importance and contribution of the prepared diploma task for the field of primary education and draw general recommendations from the practical solution. Emphasis is placed not only on the professional language processing of the work, but also on its graphic editing.
