Course content
Lecture topics: 1. Social psychology as a scientific discipline, origin and development of social psychology. 2. Stages of socialization of the individual. 3. Factors of socialization. 4. Social interaction. 5. Attitudes, values and beliefs, formation of attitudes - learning theory, direct experience. 6. Dysfunctional families. 7. Transitor and non-transitor crises in the family. Seminar topics: 1. Health psychology. 2. Conflicts. NES. 3. Stress and burnout. 4. Social perception - errors in judging people. 5. Prosocial and aggressive behaviour. 6. Social groups, class as a social group. 7. Social influences - influence of situational conditions.

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical-practical one. It will introduce students to using scientific methods, to understand and explain how the thinking, feeling, and behavior of individuals are affected by the actual, imagined, or assumed presence of others. Introduces students to the behavior, experience, and behavior of individuals in society. The subject is a specific person living in specific social conditions.
Expertise: The student knows the issues of social development of the individual, social inclusion. The student is familiar with the problems of social perception. The student is able to characterize the specifics of the family and the influence of the family on the healthy development of the individual and relationships. The student is familiar with dysfunctional families. Vocational Skills: The student can identify the risks of social inclusion. The student can apply and develop mental health principles and take into account the specificities of functional and dysfunctional families in student's profession. The student is able to eliminate the negative influence of the NES. General competences: The student is able to apply theoretical knowledge and manual skills in natural settings, is able to communicate with the client and members of the health care team.
