Course content
Lecture Topics: The First Consultation: Radiology Computer Tomography. The Second Consultation: Ultrasound diagnosis, imaging technology. Investigative methods in nuclear medicine. Seminar Topics: The First Consultation: The care of patients after radiological examinations. The Second Consultation: Protection against radiation Self-Study: Magnetic resonance Ultrasound diagnosis The care of patients after radiological and nuclide examinations.

Learning outcomes
The subject is designed as theoretically-practical unit. It introduces the students to professional activities and expertise areas: radiology, radiology and nuclear medicine, including nursing care, interdisciplinary cooperration and radiation protection.
Subject Knowledge: Students will know various types of these methods and devices which perform those tests. They will get some basic information about the physical nature of radiological imaging technologies and their potential risks to humans. Professional Skills: They are able to take care of patients before and after imaging examinations.
