Lecture topics: 1st consultation: Anatomy and physiology of the skin, description of skin efflorescences. Basics of skin diseases treatment. The most common skin diseases I. The most common skin disease II. Photoprotection and the effect of UV radiation on the skin Self-study: Skin cancer. STD. Infectious skin diseases.

This subject is a theoretical-practical unit. It is part of a complex of subjects from clinical nursing. It acquaints students with clinical conditions in terms of nursing care and the needs of patients altered in connection with diseases affecting the skin and genital organs and acquaints students with the differences of multidisciplinary care in outpatient and inpatient health services.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of the basics of nursing care in dermatovenerology from the perspective of a nurse. It also demonstrates basic knowledge of skin diseases, their diagnostics and therapy. Professional skills: The student is able to apply local externals, elastic bandages of limbs. |
