Lecture Topics: 1. week: Skin anatomy, the description of dermal eflorescentions 2. week: The basics of skin diseases treatment 3. week: Varicose ulcers 4. week: Skin tumours: benign tumours 5. week: Skin tumours: malign tumours 6. week: Most common skin diseases I 7. week: Most common skin diseases II Seminar Topics: 1. week: The physiology of skin 2. week: Basics of examination of the patient with a skin disease 3. week: Wound healing 4. week: Infections of skin (bacterial, viral, parasitical) 5. week: Sexually transmitted diseases I - syphilis 6. week: Other STDs 7. week: Infections of skin in child's age

Learning outcomes
The subject is theoretically-practical. It is a part of a complex set of subjects from clinical health care. It introduces the students with clinical states from the point of health care and patients' needs which are changing because of diseases affecting the skin and genitals; it also introduces the students with the differences in multidisciplinary care within ambulatory and bed ward medical services.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows the anatomy of skin, clinical states and differences in multidisciplinary care after the patients with a skin disease in secondary and tertiary health care. He knows preventive measures, which can be practically applied during health care. Professional Skills: Student is able to create the plan of the care for the patients with a skin disease. He is able to satisfy the needs of the patients with a skin disease.
