On the breast, systemic diseases. Children's Oncology. The Third Consultation: Palliative care, pain treatment Seminar Topics: The First Consultation: The nursing process for the patients with cancer. The Second Consultation: Pain control possibilities The Third Consultation: The stay at the hospice Self-Study: The basics of chemotherapy, side effects of radiochemotherapy and supportive treatment Dispensarization and care for the patients in the terminal stage

Learning outcomes
|
The subject informs students about the importance of primary and secondary cancer prevention, it shows etiological and predisposing factors and the statistical occurrence of the particular types of cancer.
Subject Knowledge: Students know the differences and the centers for the care and treatment of cancer patients and they have information about various clinical conditions that significantly influence the quality of patient's life with cancer and his family. They can understand the main approaches of palliative medicine and they can explain the issues of hospice staying. Professional Skills: The student can provide care for the patient with cancer diagnosis through the treatment process.
