Course content
1) Students are acquainted with the place of professional training, excursions to the medical facility, explanation of logistics hospitals and continuity of individual workplaces. 2) Organization of Professional training by mentoring, meeting with mentors, assigning mentor, planning services. 3) Explanation of the rules of professional practice, management of the practice recorder, evaluation of professional practice, explanation of supervision. 4) Specifics of student work in standard ward, familiarization with medical documentation, organization work on the nursing unit, rules for creating nursing plans / examples /. 5) Specifics of student work in the ICU and outpatient operation, familiarization with medical documentation, organization work, rules for creating nursing plans / examples /.

Learning outcomes
The student is acquainted with the organization of professional practice within the medical facility of inpatient and outpatient care. He / she is acquainted with the principles of mentoring and the way of evaluating professional practice by a mentor and an academic. Students are explained to work with the Professional training jotter. Professional training I takes place in the Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem, o. z., KZ a.s. only. Professional training is divided into 80 hours.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of nursing procedures and the theory of nursing, which can be applied in practice through nursing plans and nursing interventions. Professional skills: The student is able to implement nursing care by the nursing process method, is able to work with medical documentation and is a valid member of the medical team.
