Learning outcomes
The subject provides the knowledge of Latin grammar and terminology, emphasizes the acquisition of clear medical language expression. Mastering vocabulary is important for other preclinical and clinical disciplines that require the accuracy of verbal expression in describing anatomical structure and assessing both physiological and pathological conditions.
Expertise: The student demonstrates the knowledge of Latin medical terminology in his / her field in the area of pronunciation, lexical and grammar. Professional skills: The student is able to use acquired knowledge in orientation in professional medical terminology of his field.

Credit: continuous verification of professional knowledge in the form of active participation in lessons and completion of partial tests, comprehensive written test from the specified topics, oral interview on a selected topic from the test.
