The subject provides the knowledge of Latin grammar and terminology with the aims to teach a clear professional medical language. The vocabulary is necessary for other preclinical and clinical subjects, which require strict and precise language for description of anatomic structure and evaluation of physiological and pathological state.
Subject knowledge: Student knows professional latin terminology related to the medical fields, especially gynaecological-obstetric issues. Professional skills: Student is able to use theoretical knowledge in gynaecological-obstetric training, understand professional latin terminology used in the female care. Student can explain latin terminology used by the doctors.
